Okay, so the end of a new day. The end of a long drawn out day. Not a bad day mind you but a day that wore me out. Not to sure why but it did. The morning started off odd with an unknown visitor at the back door. No one knew the person nor the car that they arrived in so the door alas was not answered.
The day continued on as friends trickled in the door and the kids came home from school. I say kids but I only have one of my own. Everyone updated each other on their day at school and what happened. However not five minutes before the girls walked in the door, we set off a stink bomb so a friend could experience it himself. Needless to say I think someone just got an prank to pull on another.
From making phone calls and chasing kids around, a headache ensued. Great, really wasn’t looking forward to one of those again but it happened as it always does. So with the chaos of life and the normal every day hecticness, you can guarantee that a laugh is to be shared, a smile is given, hugs are handed out and someone is going to end up in a giggle fit.
Now that the chaos of the day is settling one is left to wonder if they forgot anything. You sit back and reflect on the day and see if you can find something that you missed out on or forgot about. A few times you remember something you didn’t do or forgot about and spring off the couch almost falling to the floor but you get it taken care of no less. Then when you remember something you forgot to do and you think about it, you tell yourself you’ll do it the next day in hopes you don’t forget then either.
Sitting back reflecting on what occurred only hours before can only help you. Unless of course you just pass out from exhaustion. At that point I don’t think you’ll be thinking about anything but the back of your eyelids and drooling on the arm of the couch.
